Critics Review

Robbie Ellis -'Don't Panic is an hour of tempered silliness with inherent glee that is nothing if not infectious.'open/close
For such young performers (early 20s, if I had to guess), they prod yet keep comfortable a wide variety of punters with an ease and respect that more experienced pros often lack.

A big element of the whole presentation is magic: card tricks and object work show Jeremy Rolston's skills in particular, wowing the audience participants in the process. It's not elaborate or flashy, instead his deftly understated but obvious skill suits the cosy venue.

Kade Nightingale's physicality is something to behold: this excited, clean-cut, tall, gangly guy has energy to burn, but also no small amount of dance finesse to focus it. And there's no way I'm not mentioning that, around the two-thirds mark, there is one of the most elaborate and original pun setups I've witnessed in a long time. I'm still laughing at the memory ten minutes later.

I loved this show! they were so organically funny and the dancing!!!! I actually think that could be some of the funniest comedy I have seen! loved it and highly recommend the show!
Enjoyed the show immensely. The first funny bit was the venue was the basement theatre, but it's not a basement at all! Lots of fun with commedy and magic that involved the public all the way through. You couldn't be there and not feel part of it. Thanks Kade and Jeremy, hope to see you back again in the future.
I loved the show. I went without any real expectations and found myself laughing for the whole hour. A great mix of light hearted comedy and magic tricks. My highlight was the dance routine!

Muchly recommended :-)
Good light hearted, fun show! Good mix of comedy and magic, the jokes are non offensive jokes and it's not your typical stand up comedy show. Go check it out if you're looking for something a bit more different and unique from the other shows in the festival!
Loved the show! Lots of laughs and awesome magic tricks!! Finally NZ comedy that doesn't have to rely on being crass or swear words to be funny. Still giggling over it ... Keep it up, I'm definitely coming to the next one!
