Rhys Darby, Ben Hurley, Steve Hughes and more added to the Old Mout Cider Comedy Gala

On the 31st March 2014 Back We have the pleasure of announcing homegrown international superstar Rhys Darby (last week it was announced that Netflix has picked up his sitcom Short Poppies). Steve Hughes (AUS/UK) will not only make you'll laugh he'll leave you thinking you should care a bit more about, well, everything.

Fred Award winners Jarred Christmas (2013) and Ben Hurley (2008) and last year's finalists Nick Rado and James Nokise will take the stage; Rose Matafeo, star of TV3's Jono and Ben at Ten and last year's winner of the Billy T Award will also join the line-up.
These amazing comedians join the already named line-up as part of the Old Mout Cider Comedy Gala hosted by Ireland's Jason Byrne. TV3's 7 Days members Urzila Carlson (NZ/SA) and Paul Ego (NZ); with British internationals James Acaster (UK), Carl Donnelly (UK), Sara Pascoe (UK) and psychic comedium Ian D. Montfort (UK) as well as Reginald D. Hunter (UK/USA) and Marcel Lucont (FRA).

This night launches a Long Weekend of Comedy in Auckland with Anzac Day the next day.
