New Zealand Comedians in Edinburgh
Some of Aotearoa's best comedians have made their way to the Edinburgh Fringe to celebrate New Zealand Comedy on a global stage. Here is a list of shows in this years Edinburgh Festival
Alice Snedden - Highly Credible
After years away from stand-up (due to the global pandemic and a lack of interest in being out late), Alice Snedden (co-writer and co-director of BBC and HBO's Starstruck) is taking her 2024 Fred Award Nominated show Highly Credible to Edinburgh
Becky Umbers - Big Bad Beck and the Three Little Pigs

Paul Williams - Mamiya 7
The star of Taskmaster New Zealand returns to the Edinburgh Fringe for the third time after sell-out shows in Melbourne, New Zealand and London. Paul bought a second-hand film camera last year and it turned out the previous owner had left a used-up roll of film in it. This show is about that.
Paul Williams - Plays the Hits

Sully O'Sullivan - 4 Antipodeans Walk into a Bar

Ray O'Leary - Your Laughter Is Just Making Me Stronger

Rhys Darby, Dan Schreiber and Buttons - The Cryptid Factor
Join Rhys Darby (Flight of the Conchords, Our Flag Means Death), Dan Schreiber (We Can Be Weirdos, No Such Thing As A Fish) and Leon 'Buttons' Kirkbeck (Cameo – £39 a video, 24-hour delivery guaranteed) as they take to the stage to record live episodes of New Zealand’s longest-running podcast (allegedly). Rose Matafeo - On and On and On

Trygve Wakenshaw - Silly Little Things
After winning the 2024 Fred Award as half of Different Party and a seven-year hiatus from the Fringe, Trygve Wakenshaw returns with his new hilarious mime-clown-comedy show. Light and silly, absurd and Dada, and a sort of autobiographical, introspective look at all the silly little things that can make or break a friendship. Having been nominated for Best Comedy Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2015, and selling out with Trygve Versus A Baby in 2017, award-winning, internationally-recognised mime-clown Trygve Wakenshaw won’t be lonely as he brings his new show to the Fringe for its world premiere.
Two Hearts - Til Death Do Us Hearts
New Zealand's hottest comedy pop-music duo Two Hearts are back – now with more "vow" factor. A year ago, real-life power-couple Laura Daniel (Taskmaster NZ) and Joseph Moore (Snort) tied the knot, joined bank accounts and immediately drained it all for a lavish wedding.
